Day care surgery

Neonatal surgeries

The babies born with congenital defects, requires immediate surgical intervention for a good outcome. About 40% of Pediatric surgical cases comprises of the abnormalities of the kidneys and urinary bladder. Operations are done for both congenital and acquired clinical conditions of the kidneys, uterus, bladder, and urethra in children including newborns as well as older children. The common condition requiring surgical interventions are hydronephrosis (PUJ obstruction), vesicoureteric reflux, and posterior urethral valve.
